Metro Riding Essentials

Whether you are a new rider or a daily commuter, these tools will help you easily navigate the system. The regular transit fare is $1.75, which includes free transfers within two hours and a daily maximum cap of $5. You can pay using a TAP Card, a digital wallet, or a physical credit card at station fare gates and bus validators.

The LA Metro App provides real-time arrivals, system maps, and service alerts to help you accurately plan your trip. For added security, the LA Metro Transit Watch app connects you directly to our team to report concerns systemwide.

Wilshire Bl between Stanley Av and Le Doux Rd - Street Paving Work

Metro will perform street paving on Wilshire Bl between Stanley Av and Le Doux Rd over two upcoming weekends. Beginning Saturday, June 27, at 6 a.m., through Monday, June 29, at 6 a.m., traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction between La Cienega Bl and Carson Rd. Wilshire Bl Sewer Work near Gayley Av

Crews will perform overnight sewer work on Wilshire Bl between Gayley Av and Westwood Bl. Beginning Friday, June 26, at 9 p.m., through Monday, June 29, at 6 a.m., eastbound Wilshire Bl will be closed between Gayley/Midvale Avs and Westwood Bl. Eastbound thru-traffic will be detoured during this period, and temporary lane reductions will be in effect on Veteran Av. Review the Community Notifications to help plan your travel. Full Details
